THE IDEA OF NORTH Maleny Arts Council brings Australia’s leading a cappella group "The Idea of North" to Maleny and the Sunshine Coast by popular demand for one performance only. Bryce Cottage, Priscilla Cottage and Glenferna will all be open with their marvellous displays of Maleny's past. Girl Friday – Jazz and blues
Girl Friday, a popular part of the Sunny Coast jazz and blues scene since 2016, has been gathering an army of loyal fans who come out to listen to their smooth standards and cool originals. Maleny’s main street will be transformed into a hive of late-night shopping, eating and entertainment! The night kicks off with the Sunshine Statesmen Quartette singing Christmas carols from the Community Centre Deck. Breathing Space Shakuhachi Concert with Riley Lee Come to St George Anglican Church (2 Walker Drive Maleny) on 2pm Sunday March 20th. Riley is an international master for the playing of this Japanese flute. Riley Kelly Lee is an American-born Australian-based shakuhachi player and teacher.
