DESCRIPTION:THE Historical Motorcycle Club of Queensland Sunshine Coast branch will hold its annual Motorcycle Swap Meet at the Maleny Showgrounds on Saturday March 12th. \nThis year’s swap meet will see gates open at 6am for sellers/vendors and then at 7am for buyers and the general public. The swap will trade all day from 6.00 am until 6pm. There are also great breakfasts\, and food all day!Items for sale are restricted to “motorcycle-related” but this provides a wide cross-section of goods such as complete motorcycles\, engines\, gearboxes\, frames\, tyres\, parts\, accessories\, riding clothes\, books\, photographs and paintings\, as well as trade and club displays.

DESCRIPTION:Gardening on the Edge\, an event hosted by the Maleny Garden Club\, is returning in 2021! Five beautiful gardens will be open on the June 12 and 13 weekend\, as well as a plant fair at Maleny Showground. The fair will have a wide range of plants for sale\, garden decor\, pottery and tools\, as well as delicious food . Entry to the fair is free on both days. \nThe events will comply with COVID requirements. \n\nCLICK HERE to access our first flyer. Share it with gardening friends!\n\nNumerous plant and product stalls at the fair will offer a wide range of species and ensure there is a plant suitable for every garden. Local produce will also available at the fair. Juicy pineapples were a big hit at the last event and sold quickly. For the first time\, one of the gardens will feature a display of sculptures. This will be curated by local arts identities Kevin and Jennifer Radbourne. Pottery for sale usually features at one of the gardens as well.\nThere is a small fee for entry to the gardens. DESCRIPTION:Maleny Golf Club is once more hosting this great Pro-Am event on their picturesque golf course.  With an increased prize purse of $20\,000\, more than 60 tour regulars are expected to play\, including golfing icon Peter Senior with other big names like Peter Lonard and Craig Parry potentially joining the field along with defending title holder Ben Jackson. Amateurs could win a new car from Pacific Ford by scoring a Hole-in-One! \nThere is no admission cost for tournament spectators and the course offers some excellent elevated vantage points from which to follow the progress of the players as well as sample on-course food and beverages being supplied by naming rights sponsor Clouds Retreat’s the Barrel and Vines Café.

The walk will begin at the main oval\, around to Coral St\, then onto the Obi Creek Boardwalk and back to the main oval. \nAND The fun continues after the walk!! There will be a dog fancy dress competition with great prizes! We look forward to seeing all your doggy designs. \nThis will be followed by the Paws of Thunder Dog Races!! The races are:\n-Tiny Tackers (any dog under 10kg)\n– Older dogs (dogs over 10yrs)\n– Canine Cup (working dogs)\n– Fastest Dog on the Hill (all other dogs).\nEach dog can enter only one race category.
