DESCRIPTION:The Maleny Arts Council presents Gold and Silver featuring the Brisbane City Pops Orchestra conducted by Adrian Head\, soprano Lesley Martin-Nightingale and the Maleny Singers in a concert of well-known and treasured musical favourites. The concert will be compered by Martin Daubney.\n\nSoprano Leslie Martin-Nightingale who will delight you with her performance of Waltzing in the Clouds\, made famous by Deanna Durbin\, and the ever-popular Ciribiribin. Local favourites the Maleny Singers’ performance will include the Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves from Nabucco and the Easter Hymn. Compere\, Martin Daubney will present a great Australian classic\, The Man from Snowy River – with a little help from the orchestra.\nThis concert is supported by the Maleny Rotary Club in memory of the late Chris Ross-Smith OAM\, man of the theatre\, Rotarian\, and dedicated Maleny Arts Council member. \nYou can book tickets here.
